Optex’ specialization is continuous single screw extrusion. We developed our expertise in the demanding applications of cast film and extrusion coating. These high throughput thin film applications place the greatest demand on extruder screw design for high quality (uniform distribution of blend components and temperature) and high productivity designs. We bring a comprehensive approach to process analysis and design for complete extrusion systems in these applications. In addition we have further applied this specialized knowledge of these demanding applications to other similar continuous extrusion processes: blown film, sheet, profile, and single screw compounding.
