Google to Launch New Comment Platform

The rise of commenting functionality offered by companies like Facebook and Disqus has caused Google some headaches. Since most of the solutions are JavaScript-based, Google wasn't able to initially index the comments. While that has now changed, Google is apparently preparing to release its own commenting platform that website owners can use to power comments on their sites.
